Heal. Bloom. Become.
About Me
Hi, I’m Meghan, the heart behind Sacred Bloom Healing Arts.
I’m originally from Southern Indiana, but I’ve called Illinois home for more than 10 years. For much of my life, I was busy being who I thought I was supposed to be. Like so many women, I spent a lot of time taking care of others, meeting expectations, and putting pieces of myself on the back burner.
Between the ages of 38 and 39, I had a whole life transformation. I not only lost a lot of weight naturally through putting in 550 miles of hiking in the woods in one year and truly listening to my body and what I should eat, but I also allowed myself to listen to myself and not the outside world.
I began to see myself differently. I began to realize that I was worthy of taking up space in my own life. I learned to honor myself, trust myself, and believe that the dreams I had hidden away were still worth pursuing.
That transformation gave me the courage to go back to school. What started as a personal journey of discovering myself eventually became something much bigger. It opened my eyes to how deeply I wanted to help other women find their own way back to themselves.
My journey has taught me that there isn't one right path. We aren't all meant to want the same things, live the same lives, or follow the same dreams. Your path belongs to you, and I believe that every woman deserves a moment in time to simply be: to be herself, to explore who she is truly becoming, to honor what is sacred to her, to listen to her intuition, and to learn to dream again.
I’m the woman who will walk barefoot, make a dandelion crown, move a spider, pause and admire a dragonfly, hug a tree, and stare at the night sky. I’ve learned these little moments aren't distractions from life; they are life.
Sacred Bloom Healing Arts is a reflection of the woman I became when I finally gave myself permission to live mine.
If there's one thing I hope my story reminds you of, it's this: you don't have to become someone else to create a life that feels like your own. Sometimes you simply have to get quiet long enough to actually hear the person you've been all along.
Keep blooming.
